We were so excited to launch Donna Ida Thornton's Jean Queen cocktail last week with a huge party at Eclipse Bars on Walton Street in Chelsea. Amongst the fabulous guests, we welcomed Vogue.com's Harriet Baker. Here's what she had to say...
Vogue's Harriet Baker - 'Last night we sipped delicious drinks at the launch of a new range of cocktails designed by jean queen Donna Ida. Fresh strawberries, cucumber and elderflower made them perfect summer drinks - not forgetting dashes of G-Vine gin and Moet et Chandon Champagne. Starting with a 'Secret Garden' with a hint of honey, we had a 'Blonde Moment' with Maraschino liqueur and grapes, and then became 'Cautiously Reckless' with a touch of Aperol and fresh ginger. All this whilst chatting to Donna about the creative process of mixology and why gin is her favourite tipple.'
