DONNA IDA: What are your wardrobe essentials and how do you wear your jeans?
Jo: Jeans are the ultimate wardrobe essential. I love them flared, or cropped. Or even better, flared and cropped, with some interesting flat shoes and a favourite Tee or knit.

DONNA IDA: Which are your favourite jeans from our shoot and why?
Jo: I’m in love with the Kate. The 70s silhouette will always be a favourite of mine. My husband calls them ‘big ol’ bell-bottoms’ but he’ll just have to deal.
DONNA IDA: Why do you think jeans are such an iconic item?
Jo: Because they’re so versatile. The ultimate 24/7 piece that you can dress up or down. They look fantastic with pretty much everything you can imagine.

DONNA IDA: Who are your favourite influencers to follow on Instagram for inspiration?
DONNA IDA: Who are your favourite influencers to follow on Instagram for inspiration?
Jo: Donna teases me about this but it’s true: absolutely obsessed with J Hope of the Korean band BTS: androgynous, experimental, sporty and so damn cool. He actually wears quite a few women’s pieces anyway, and looks better in them than any of us would. I always look at pictures of Jenna Lyons when I need some inspiration too. She has a way of reinventing staples that’s very cheering to me.
