DONNA IDA: What are your wardrobe essentials and how do you wear your jeans?
Obviously jeans! I own over 30 pairs in all the styles, from skinny, flare to straight – and I do love a high-waist. They are so versatile, easily dressed up and down. I tend to wear with a white t-shirt or oversized shirt with pumps or sandals in the summer.

DONNA IDA: Which are your favourite Donna Ida jeans /jumpsuit and why?
The Minnie. It’s the perfect style and cut for my body shape. I’m 5’9” and these have lots of stretch so the fit in incredible. The high-waist, long length and dramatic flairs are super elongating. I love the silhouette this style gives me and they are super comfortable too.
DONNA IDA: Why do you think jeans are such an iconic item?
They never go out of fashion. The fabric is super hard-wearing and gets better with time and you get great cost per wear.

DONNA IDA: Who is your denim icon?
I loved Nick Kamen in the iconic launderette Levis advert from the 1980s. He made denim very sexy again – and loved Lindsay Wagner (Bionic Woman) and Farrah Fawcett who rocked those flairs in the 70s.
