Felicity has a wonderful story about how she met Jean Queen Donna Ida Thornton.
"I met Donna a long time ago enough mutual friends,” Felicity explains. "She was wearing a shirt that I lusted after, and it was sold out in stores. Donna very sweetly tracked one down for me in my size, and sent it to me. It was the most wonderful thing to do for someone you've never even set eyes on before, and we've kept in touch. She's a lovely lady and I love her pieces.”
We joined Felicity, her husband Terry and two dachshund dogs at their light and spacious West London home for our Style Insider shoot.
"I've known Felicity for a long, long time,” Donna says. “She's beautiful, stylish, is a real denim girl and has nice way of putting outfits together."

About Felicity
"I grew up in Buckinghamshire but I couldn’t wait to move to London,” Felicity said. “I love fashion and I was always really inspired by my mother who was very glamorous. She was the sort of person who would wear a hat on a plane and always look good.
"I do wear jeans a lot as they are great for a busy day with a blazer’” she added. "I feel more comfortable in skinny and slim jeans. I have a big selection of blazers and I enjoy finding interesting pieces to go with them.”
"I’d say Kate Moss is my denim icon, but she would look good in a bin liner,” Felicity laughs. "She has that je ne sais quoi. Annette Bening and Twiggy look great in jeans too, they’re gorgeous.”
When asked about her modelling days, Felicity has a great story to tell.
"I did do a little modelling when I moved to London and appeared on the catwalk a few times,” she recollects. "There was a memorable time when I was walking the runway for Maxwell Croft. I’d been given a few glasses of Champagne beforehand and I was modelling a spectacular mini coat with over the knee high heel boots. When it was my time to go down the catwalk, I realised I was walking to the song Hey Big Spender so I really gave it some welly!"
Here’s all the looks from the shoot:
The Jumpsuit

For the shoot, Donna picked beautiful spring outfits with lots of light blue and white denim so the looks were lovely and fresh.
"I styled Felicity in the Cassandra the Flared Jumpsuit and we updated it with a white frill blouse underneath it,” Donna explained. “It is such a simple but elegant look just with beautiful hoop earrings and sandals.”
"The Donna Ida shoot changed my attitude towards denim,” Felicity added. " If you’d told me beforehand that I’d be wearing a flared jumpsuit, I’d have said not likely! As I thought it was for a younger age group and I was nervous of being mutton dressed as lamb. But after seeing the photos I’m really happy. I was worried I a little too mature to wear a jumpsuit it actually looked sophisticated but casual."
Double Denim

Felicity’s favourite outfit was double denim with Hope the Patch Pocket Flare in Milk with Downtown LA The Western Shirt.
"I love this look, it is very comfortable,” Felicity said. "Double denim can be hard to wear but now I'm styled beautifully by Miss Donna, I will wear this all the time."
"I love the classic denim shirt,” Donna added. "Pairing it with white denim looks fantastic. That is the best way to style double denim, with different shades. For example I like grey denim with blue denim or black and blue together too."

The final outfit was full of drama with the Cable Me Captain Jumper and the best selling Minnie the Flare Jeans.
"I love visual drama,” Donna explained. "I love the freshness of the monochrome with the blue denim.”
