Rosie Fortescue is a born multi-tasker, which is a handy skill given her busy schedule which means she effortlessly switches from filming Made in Chelsea to attending fashion shows, writing her own blog and running her jewellery business. Rosie is part of the original cast of the BAFTA award winning TV show Made in Chelsea, which incidentally is hitting the screens of E4 on Monday 11th April at 9pm with their 11th series (it is a serious guilty pleasure at DONNA IDA so we have been counting down the hours). She would be forgiven for resting on her laurels given her popularity on the show, but Rosie's entrepreneurial nature and refined style led her to start up her own blog AtFashionForte where she updates her army of followers on her street style looks. Style is evidently Rosie's passion and she's a tastemaker for emerging designer brands and fashion forward trends which have amassed her over 480k Instagram followers and in excess of 320k on Twitter. Last year Rosie expanded her brand by launching Rosie Fortescue Jewellery which offers beautiful luxury pieces that are designed to finish your outfit off with. We catch up with Rosie in her London home and find out how she styles her denim wardrobe.

DONNA IDA: Where are you from and where did you grow up?
Rosie Fortescue: I was born in London and grew up here until I went to boarding school age 11 until 18. I then came back to London to do my History of Art degree at Goldsmiths. I am definitely a city girl at heart!
DONNA IDA: How did you get started in the fashion world?
Rosie Fortescue: I started my blog AtFashionForte when I was finishing my degree and really wanted to start something creative that could be a great outlet for inspiration. I then started filming Made in Chelsea and documenting my outfits which has resulted in working with amazing brands. My blog has now been running for five years which is crazy!
DONNA IDA: Tell us about Fashion Week; what were your show highlights, and what are your survival tips?
Rosie Fortescue: I love the buzz of LFW and the Street Style outside shows. It's mad to see the photographers hounding people on every street corner before and after the shows but I love following Street Style photographers on Instagram and seeing the people that they snap. Survival tips are lots of sugar and not making my mistake of always drinking too much on the first night.

DONNA IDA: What are your tips for taking a great photo?
Rosie Fortescue: Being comfortable in front of the camera is essential. Whether you're the subject or taking the image. Unaware shots can also be great to capture a moment.
DONNA IDA: You recently launched Rosie Fortescue Jewellery – what can we expect from the collection?
Rosie Fortescue: The collection is colourful and playful and I want it to be worn by every jewellery lover to enjoy and have fun wearing my collection. I have just received my new samples from my next collection which I am beyond excited about!
DONNA IDA: What is your style advice for wearing your jewellery?
Rosie Fortescue: To have fun wearing it. Some pieces such as the Heart Trilogy necklaces and bracelets can be worn with everything but the Hexagon earrings for instance are a great statement piece for a night out.

DONNA IDA: Which are your favourite jeans from our shoot and why?
Rosie Fortescue: I am totally obsessed with the Mother Denim flares. They make my legs look long which is always a winner and are super comfortable. I love the idea of wearing them with a jumper but also a cute blouse in the summer.
DONNA IDA: Why do you think jeans are such an iconic item?
Rosie Fortescue: They are the staple in every wardrobe. I have so many pairs I can't even count because you can always justify buying a new pair!
DONNA IDA: Who is your denim icon?
Rosie Fortescue: My denim icon has to be Olivia Palermo. She is so effortlessly cool in flares or skinny jeans.

DONNA IDA: Where in the world are girls best dressed? What kind of style do you admire?
Rosie Fortescue: I love the style in New York, but not forgetting London too! A city girl who looks chic without too much effort.
DONNA IDA: Describe your style highs and lows?
Rosie Fortescue: My lows have got to be as a young tomboy teenager. A lot of plaid shirt and jeans were worn but in the wrong way. Highs have to be discovering new styles and stepping out of my monochrome comfort zone.
DONNA IDA: What’s your favourite restaurant?
Rosie Fortescue: I am totally obsessed with The Wolsley and Berners Tavern. The interiors are stunning and the food is unreal.
DONNA IDA: Where’s your ultimate holiday destination?
Rosie Fortescue: I am desperate to go to Tulum. Nothing better than sun, margaritas and Mexican food!

Rosie Fortescue: Be persistent with achieving my goals. Never give up.
DONNA IDA: The new series of Made in Chelsea starts soon, any gossip you can share with us?
Rosie Fortescue: Sadly I can't give anything away but it's sure to be a fiery season. We have filmed several episodes already and even I am shocked and excited about whats to come!
DONNA IDA: What’s next
Rosie Fortescue: My jewellery is my baby at the moment and I can't wait to watch it grow!
