I was so excited when Sunday Times Style Editor Tiffanie Darke asked me to be part of their Big Fashion Sale at Somerset House. Somerset House is without doubt the best place to be at this time of the year with the beautiful Christmas tree and outdoor ice skating rink. As if we needed further temptation, the Isabella Blow exhibition opened which I saw earlier this month.
As part of their Girls Get Ahead campaign Sunday Times Style Big Fashion Sale is held to raise funds for Smart Works, an amazing charity which helps by offering styling advice and support to women who are looking to get back into work.
The day was a huge success with bargains to be had from Whistles, John Lewis, Coach, Lily and Lionel plus complimentary makeovers from Bobbi Brown.
We celebrated the occasion by setting up the famous Donna Ida sweet shop to hand out on the day, along with denim advice of course.
