It seems like a lifetime ago already but at the beginning of June Bobby Dazzler and I went to Sandy Lane in Barbados with our friends Sam and Geoff to celebrate our third wedding anniversary and soak up the sun. I'm still reeling from our stay - literally, I didn't want to leave and I always, always want to come home to London. We met a couple out there who keep a permanent room at Sandy Lane and I can see why. It feels like home! A big home but so friendly it could definitely be home. Here are some pictures so you can drool along with me.
The first thing Sandy Lane do is unpack for you. The joy! Everything is laid out perfectly.
My Kindle and Donna Ida SS13 Surf's Up tattoos were positioned by the bed.
Settling down to dinner in the sand for the first evening.
My perfect room has to have a coffee station!
I took advantage of the gym daily. 8am workouts!
And my morning view post workout....
My morning view on the way to the gym.
The first thing I did was have a massage. The locker even had a little pot for my jewellery!
A calming midday G&T on the beach.
To keep everyone from overheating too much Sandy Lane offer mini sorbets all day on the beach.
We headed down to JuJu's for lunch one day. Prerequisite!
Heading down to the spa.
They had hundreds of different kinds of showers but my favourite was the bucket shower. You literally pull a bucket of water over your head.
Jane at the John Frieda salon at Sandy Lane. She gave me two of the most expensive (but best) blow drys i've ever had.
Bobby Dazzler water skiing. He's a natural!
@Sam_Bottega about to go water skiing. Also a natural.

Melissa Obabash featured heavily in my beach look.
Leaving Sandy Lane. General Manager Randy and his wife Jenny saw us off with Mario, Randy's second in command. I'm wearing the IDA Frenchie in Bright Vintage rolled up.
Sandy Lane's Rolls Royce Phantom whisked us to the airport.
Airport bound with our friends Michael and Alla.
I found a beach friend at the airport.
