Look after your jeans by remembering these golden rules:

  • Always turn jeans inside-out before washing
  • Wash in cold water
  • Never use bleach and do not soak

  • Denim is designed to fade
  • When washing new jeans for the first time, always wash them on their own as excess dye may bleed onto other garments

Donna's Tips

Easiest the most simple and joyful top in my wardrobe. It is easy to layer, I love that it is elbow length for the most flattering of arms. If you like a lower scoop at the front, wear it back to front with the IDA branding printed on the reverse. We don’t use stitched in branding for this reason a) because they can be itchy and b) so you can wear them back to front.

Alterations

You can alter any denim style: hemming, tapering, or even taking in on the waist. You’ll find our hemming advice here. Always speak to an expert. We recommend Sarah on sarah@theartisanseamstress.co.uk.
